My Children and Grandchildren
I always felt that having twins was a very special gift from God. John and Michael have been a constant source of joy and pride for me. Like every good parent, I made many sacrifices over the years for them. I have been rewarded with two sons every mother would be proud of. Jacqueline Kennedy once said her children were her hallmark. That is the way I feel about John and Michael.
Many times when they were babies and toddlers, people would say to me, “I’m glad they are yours and not mine.” I would quickly reply with something along the lines of, “I couldn’t agree with you more.”
They are now adults and each has given me a daughter in law that I adore. John and Jennifer have given me three adorable grandsons, Kevin, Jake, and Andrew. Jake was born on September 25, the same birthday as “Granny”, my grandmother and his great-great-grandmother.
